Who we are
HairBack Canada is an independent referral website that connects Canadian men considering hair restoration procedures with a Canadian-registered medical travel facilitator and its network of accredited clinics abroad. We are not a clinic, a hospital, or a medical provider, and we do not perform any medical procedures.
What we collect
When you submit our Free Hair Assessment form, we collect:
- Your first name, email address, and phone number
- A general description of your hair loss and your timeline for considering a procedure
- Standard technical information (such as your approximate location, device/browser type, and the advertising campaign or placement that referred you — captured via URL parameters) used to measure which ad placements are working and to reduce fraudulent submissions
We do not ask for or knowingly collect government ID numbers, financial account details, or detailed medical history through this website. Any detailed medical information is collected later, directly by a licensed physician, as part of your actual consultation — not by us.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide you with a personalized plan and price estimate
- To refer your information to our medical travel partner and its clinic network, so a coordinator can contact you about your assessment
- To follow up with you by phone, email, or text about your inquiry
- To measure and improve the performance of our advertising and this website
We share the information you submit with our medical travel referral partner, so they can contact you directly to continue your assessment. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not share it with anyone outside this specific referral purpose without your consent, except where required by law. Some service providers that help us operate this website (for example, our form and hosting provider) may process your information on our behalf, under obligations to keep it confidential.
Consent
By submitting the form on this site, you consent to us collecting, using, and sharing your information as described above, and to being contacted by phone, email, or text about your assessment — including by our referral partner. You can withdraw your consent to future contact at any time by emailing privacy@hairbackcanada.com or by replying "unsubscribe" to any message we send. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already done based on consent you gave before that point.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how it's used, by contacting privacy@hairbackcanada.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use invasive tracking technologies. We capture a small number of URL parameters (such as a click or campaign identifier) when you arrive from an ad, so we can measure which placements are working. This information is tied to your form submission, not used to track you elsewhere on the web.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
